As not many other swiss band, Funky Brotherhood has performed over the last years numerous international festivals all over europe. Bandleader Stephan Geiser found with Marco Jeger and Phillip Henzi a new co-producer and musical director. Both bringing fresh ideas to the band.
„Enemy“ & “Go with the flow” are typical songs which present the new FBH sound. Elements of pop, rock and funk are mixed together forming a crossover style. Hard-soul and rock-funk at its best.
Special guest featured on this album are Noel McCalla (Mannfred Mann’s Earth Band) with his fantastic vocal performance on the Billy Cobham song “Crosswind”, Matthieu Michel who played all the horns and a tasty solo on the smooth ballad “There for you” as well as the well known Swiss rap artist “Greis” who add his special touch to the “Shake Remix” , just to drop a few names.

Sie beweisen auf ihrem aktuellen Album "try it", dass sie zu den feinsten und hochgradigsten Funk Acts Europas gehören. Die wahre Perle der Band ist die seit ein paar Jahren in der Schweiz wohnhafte Sängerin Freda A. Goodlett. Mit ihr verfügt die Band über eine charismatische und stimmgewaltige Frontfrau, wie wir sie hierzulande nur selten zu hören bekommen.

War schön, mit euch den ehrwürdigen alten Kronleuchter im Casineum wieder mal richtig durchzuschütteln. Freda und Marc und die ganze funky bande haben's Luzern wieder mal gezeigt, yeah.

danke für's adden. hoffe, es geht euch allen gut und dass ich's wieder mal an ein konzert von euch schaffe. in zukunft leider ohne brige (immer noch traurig bin)...aber ich erlebe dann auch ein wenig für sie mit.
