Après une année riche en rencontres, en voyages et en musique, la compagnie prend quelques jours de repos et se prépare pour la nouvelle saison qui risque d'être encore plus éblouissante.
Merci à tous pour votre soutien et votre reconnaissance.
.. Dear friends, This year also, between 23 and 26 of July at Timisoara, IRAF is happening again! International Romani Art Festival has arrived to it s 3 rd edition, and it will delight you with music concerts, theater plays, traditional cookery, paintings and sculptures exhibitions and movie projections, all meant to rediscover and promote Romani culture. For this particular last section we search for your help. If you have seen a movie inspired of Romani lives and you would like it to be visioned in our festival, you can make us a suggestion, by writing us about it at sokereseuropa@gmail.com . We would also appreciate if you can send us the movie on a cd/dvd at the following address : Timisoara, str. Ulpia Traiana, nr.83, Romania . If you want to support the fight against human discrimination and the promotion of the intercultural dialogue, send us a picture to the same email address, with the indication “for face to face”, and it will be projected during the festival. Besides, you can propose us new sections to be introduced in the festival, like different ways of expressing Romani art and culture. We wait for your ideas! Soon the site for this edition of IRAF will be ready, so you can see there the programme and the artists that will perform on stage. To be well informed about our news as soon as they appear, access www. feestival. ro and subscribe the newsletter. See you at the festival! This is a friendship of a beautiful beginning !
Hi and thanks for the friendship! We go back in the studio and do the final sessions in our deconstruction of John Dowland’s galliards in December. Material from the September sessions up on the site right now. The Black Bile Galliards/Stefan Östersjö, Natasha Barrett
Sounds like you have a lot going on! Please keep in contact regarding Bahri and Kate---thanks. In any case, best wishes with your new career in Real Estate--an interesting time to jump into the business!!
The DVD is about Des Moines County, Iowa--Burlington is the capitol--SE Iowa. It was commissioned by the Des Moines Historical Society to portray a year in Des Moines Co.--which involved quite a bit--floods, record-breaking snow and ice storms, the burning down by a Satanist of the church recognized as the oldest congregation in the state and the first territorial capitol, etc. It is not a film designed to attract tourists. It is a valuable historical documentary that will only increase in value over time. There are five videos ranging in length of 1 1/2 hours to 10 minutes--covering such things as manufacturing, people on the street and in stores, a quick tour through the county's back roads ("A Day in Des Moines County").
Nothing planned at this time---some great shows in Burlington at my son's new club, the Washington. Go to theblueshop. com to see what's scheduled for the Washington. Hope to see you in October.
