Funky Monks is quickly becoming the nation's premiere Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, playing all the RHCP radio favorites plus the great punk & funk classics that helped put the Peppers on the map. Since formed in 2003 by bassist Jeff Genualdi (Jefflea), we've had the privilege of playing at venues as far as California, Mexico, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois & Wisconsin including many major universities within the Midwestern/Eastern states.
We are fans playing for fans, and every show is a celebration. We put focus on giving you the same live experience you would expect from a real Peppers concert, with stage energy, crowd interaction and tightly-crafted musicianship...all for a fraction of what a current concert ticket would cost. And we love playing our favorite songs!

you should play at: the trocadero, TLA, or the khyber. i'd come in a heartbeat, i've loved RHCP since i was 6! and there's not enough bands covering their songs these days!
