Nothing beats that in the pocket groove, and that's exactly what this band strives to provide. Forming in 2007 out of the town of Hudson, Ohio, Funk You continually experiments with a variety of musical genres in order to put an original twist on classics as well as to develop their own interesting sounds and songs. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has hailed them as “[a] jazz style band with confident and distinct tone that strays seamlessly into jam-band territory”.

Hi there Funk You first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
Sorry to hear that you won't be joining us... good luck at your next gig!

WORD OF THE WEEK (6/3-6/10) IS "GRAVY"
adj.
1. A word used for "it's good, great or delicious."
2. Something that is without hassle or without a problem.
The word gravy is most often used with laid back undertones and usually is not used to describe something exciting or in an exclamatory way.
A college student might say: "Only one more exam to go, so the rest of this semester will be gravy."
Keepin'the words and tunes flowin'for ya. Thanks for commin' with me to my new page! - Jake Glasgow (Mister G)
