Steve is working professional singer/songwriter/musician, from the Cleveland Ohio area. He sang, played guitar, and wrote the regional hit Funky Poodle as a member of The Wild Horses. The song was a heat seeker on the Billboard Charts, and went on to be the biggest regional hit, receiving airplay on 101.7 WMMS, as well as 106.5, and KROC in L.A., and was included in a compilation CD on Oglio Records, as well as Esquire Records.
As a member of Wild Horses, the band was voted the Number 1 band for 5 years in the Cleveland Area, due mostly to Steves writing, singing, and performing ability. Steve has written hundreds of songs, and recorded 2 albums while with the Horses, writing most of the tunes.
Steve is honored to be included in Deanna Adams book, Rock n Roll and the Cleveland Connection, as a big contributor to the N.E. Ohios music scene.
He has shared the stage with The Ramones, Southside Johnny, Warren Zevon, The Beach boys, Michael Stanley, David Johansen, and many more.
While a member of Golden Hall, he shared the stage with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Hal Ketchum and many others. He also wrote and recorded a number of songs for this WEA project.
Steve is a working professional musician, continually honing his writing and performing skills. He currently performs with the bands, BIG ZIPPER, Sumrada, and solo/acoustically, and hosts a local blues jam with the Bad Boys of Blues. He has a CD (w/Big Zipper) that will be released this spring, with all original songs written by Steve.
Steve is a team player, with the talent to write, sing, and contribute to any worthy project.
