Peter met Luke. They made various bands together to entertain the members of RSL's around Victoria. What joy and rapture was had by all concerned. And we were VERY concerned. Then we made our dream band "The Funky String Band." First album in 2001 and then Luke left Australia for Scotland. Some might say this was purely to recruit Angus R Grant for the "Mongrel Unleashed" - recorded in 2005. Then the Rug arrived. Jamie Jauncey added keys for the current album - "And You May Find Yourself..." He was the rug that tied the whole room together. Back to back tours of Scotland and Australia to follow the launch of this album late in 2007....

Geez, you guys is funky! And even more funky under a Labor government, I have to say. We had an election night party with a Howard pinyata, which we set to with a cricket bat. Then we sang union songs. Aaaaahhhh....
