They say time flies when you're having FUNN, well it must be true because it doesn't seem like ten years ago that we were developing our first range of products dedicated to Downhill and Dual Slalom as well as some of the first products in the market specifically for Mountain Bike dirt jumping. We've been a part of a lot of great events around the world and we've had a lot of FUNN with all the friends we've made along the way. To celebrate our Tenth Anniversary, a Limited Edition of our "Full On" Handlebar, "Rippa" Stem and "Soljam Viper" Pedals will be available in our original anodised Florange color with a "Ten Year Anniversary" logo.
OK that's enough nostalgia stuff, for 2007 we have a tonne of new products including our new range of Downhill and Freeride cranks, as well as updates to our proven Soljam Viper Pedal, seatposts, rims, wheelsets and even some new BMX race stems and cranks.
Over the past ten years we've had the great opportunity to develop products with some of the best riders in the world, and that continues to this day. Sam Hill, Kyle Strait, Nathan Rennie, Chris Arriagia, Gee Atherton, Jarod Rando, Brendan Fairclough, Richard Gasperotti, Alberto Accettulli as well as the Ironhorse Team, Evil Bikes Team and the Kuwahara BMX Team all use and abuse FUNN products.
The boring bit would be that we own our own test lab and equipment with Brown and Sharp CMM, CCD and optical comparators, environmental testing station, salt spray, tensile testing equipment and surface finish equipment. We are ISO certified and own our own machining centers as well as assembly factories. Yet we still only provide components for DH, 4X, Dirt, Street and Freeride type of MTB.
We have positioned ourselves to fill a void in the market for new and aggressive brand imagining as we will continue to only provide components for the specific type of mountain bikes as stated above as this is where our heart is!
