Well, my biggest interest is Ryan :). We're getting Married December 15th, 2007, so yeah! Exciting! :D. I'm super preoccupied with that atm XD rofl!
I have a TON of other interests, almost too many in fact. My interests really vary with my mood (to the extreme). People can easily tell what mood I'm in by two things: 1. What I listen to, and 2. What I'm interested in at the time.
One of my favorite things to do is ride horses. I grew up around them (I'm such a country girl). I have one horse named Buck :). I bought him in July 2006. He's turning out to be an ok ranch horse. He still has a few things to learn, though. lol. He doesn't like water XD. Look under the "I'd Like to Meet" section to see a video of him from when I first brought him home :D. I'll have to get more videos of him from the Ranch when I get the chance ^^.
I also love the outdoors (riding horses, hiking, etc). I also can't forget to add that I love sunsets and stargazing :P.
I love writing (English major - yeah). I mainly like to do creative writing, but I've kinda come short on ideas lately (mainly due to lack of time).
I just got back into art again after about a year off. Thanks to one of my friends, Josey, I've started to experiment with a lot of different techniques. I spent most of my net-time on an art site (DeviantArt). I have a gallery there of all of my art and photography. I also have a couple of written works there as well. Here's the link: http://Devynn.deviantart.com
I'm a history minor, so I like history. Mainly, I like the history of the west. It's kind of a passion I picked up after growing up watching westerns with my grandpa :). I dunno. I just like the attitude and spirit of that time. You can't beat it :).
Oh, and I love cars! I grew up around them. Ryan's kinda running me throught the technical aspects of everything, so I'm learning more :). I don't know what my favorite car is at the moment. My tastes are changing. I currently drive a '94 Honda Civic. Yes - I'm a bit of a tomboy :P. Oh, and I also like to ride dirt bikes :).
I'm also starting to get into photography. I need to get a decent camera though. *sigh* Oh for a Digital Rebel!
I also love working with CSS codes! (Obviously). I just love tweaking the code on my profile :D.
Oh, and I like football! :D Seattle has basically been my favorite team since I was a little kid (it's a long story).
Anyway, I have a TON of other interests on top of these, but this will do for a starter ^^.
Music
ROCK!
I'm a total music mutt. I have a bit of everything, but my favorite is definitely Rock. My favorite artist is Bon Jovi. Basically, his music is the music that I always go back to in the end. I just love it. Oh, and I also like country :).
Also, I'm totally IN LOVE with my iPod playlists!!!! Seriously!
Here's a list of some of the band I have on my iPod (in no particular order):
Bon Jovi (Naturally), Creedence Clearwater Revival, Scorpions, U2, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, the score for The Lord of the Rings, The Top Gun soundtrack (It was one of my earliest memories as far as music goes :D), Papa Roach, Metallica. I have the clean cds, by the way), 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Kansas, Linkin Park, Staind, Hoobastank, Evanescence, Restless Heart, America, Creed, Journey, Matchbox 20, Tonic, The Soundtrack to Maverick, Edwin McCain, Incubus, The Soundtrack to Navy SEALs, Practical Magic sountrack, Remember the Titans soundtrack, Garth Brooks, Live, Skid Row, Santana, Soundgarden, Sarah McLachlan, Wilson Phillips, Loreena McKennitt, Three Dog Night, Collin Raye, Ozzy Ozbourne, Boston, Bryan Adams, Five for Fighting, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sawyer Brown, and the list goes on!
I actually left a lot out XD. I have a ton of movie scores, and I also have a lot of scattered music that didn't come off of any one CD (I know. That didn't make sense XD). Anyway, like I said, I'm a music mutt :P.
Movies
Ok, where I PERSONALLY have well over 500 movies, I think I'll just stick with my favorites on this one.
Favorites Fantasy: Lord of the Rings Western: The Searchers or Maverick Sci-Fi: Stargate Horror: Underworld [edited] Action: LETHAL WEAPON! [edited] Superhero: Batman Begins Historical: Gladiator [edited] & The Last Samurai [edited] Mystery: The Prestige Comedy: Probably Maverick, though it's not an official comedy ^~ lol. Classic: The Quiet Man Chick Flick: The A&E version of Pride & Prejudice and The Lake House Animated: Cars Disney: Beauty & the Beast
Favorite Movie: I don't really have one. It all depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm obsessing over at the time.
Television
My favorite TV show is Stargate SG-1. I've been following the show since season 2, and I collect the DVDs. I'm miffed that they cancelled it. I've been watching it for 8-9 years. It's going to be . . . strange. It went out well, though. Plus, they played my FAVORITE Credence song for the last episode!!!! *does a happpy dance* ("Have You Ever Seen the Rain")
Basically, I'm not finding much on TV that I like to watch anymore, so I like to get the old tv shows that I used to watch over the years so that I never run out of options :). Besides, I have a lot of time to kill, and I watch tv while I do homework, while I draw, while I write, and while I do most things that involve just sitting around. Ah the joys of being ADD :).
Books
Lord of the Rings (or anything by Tolkien), anything by T.A. Barron, and a million others that I'll put in here when I get time :P. Dracula, Chronicles of Narnia, most young adult fantasy, most older style horror, etc. I also like some Clive Cussler novels. He's a much better author than Tom Clancy.
I tend to watch tv more than I read just because I spend all my reading time reading homework x.x
Heroes
You're my hero for reading through all of this. lol
Actually, Ryan's my #1 hero ^^.

My friend Josey threatened me with my life if I let this site become another obsession, so I can still mainly be found on DeviantArt :P lol. (You're welcome, Josey ^~).
My husband would love for us to get a puppy, but I don't really want one in our little apartment. PLUS, I'm pregnant, so that will be a cute and cuddly thing and hopefully will suffice enough for him for a while. :)
Anyway, yeah I'll let you know how the cruise goes. I'm so excited for it! Have fun in Cedar! I'm actually going to Vegas today for a conference for the WC. hopefully it will be fun.
We're going on a 7 day cruise from LA to Mazatlan, Cabo San lucas (I think that's its name), and Puerto Vallarta. It's going to be our birthday, Christmas, Anniversary, Valentine's, and graduation presents rolled into one! But it's still going to be awesome. Too bad I have to wait until December....:(
So what's new in your life? I have no idea whay you are even up to up there...other than working on the ranch (it is a ranch, right? Or is it a farm? I'm sorry I don't know).
Yeah, I guess if something "better" comes along, I won't be sad to miss out on the teaching stuff, but I don't think anything will happen to deter me from this path of getting my teaching license.
The WC is just as it always was, really. It's summer so there aren't a ton of people around, but enough to keep us from getting bored. It feels weird though because basically all the people I started with are now gone. It's sad when that happens!
And, of course, nothing new is really happening in my life. Oh wait! Except my husband and I are planning on going on a cruise after finals in december. That should be super fun!
I am glad you guys are happy. You should be! All is well for me. Yes, I am working in the WC this summer...and for the rest of my life...or so it seems. That's okay though, it's a good job that lets you play around when it's not busy! hurray! I was going to graduate in December, but I decided I will do my teaching license stuff as well (I thought about not doing it for a long while..even put in graduation papers and everything!). Well, now I have another year to go...what fun is that?
I honestly didn't think I would love teaching like I do. Hope someone picks me up for next year, because subbing is just like doing the job for pretend.
It just keeps getting better, ya know? I even have my first school interview this coming week! Looks like they really are going to let me become an English teacher. :)
Things are going well here. Teaching rocks (student teaching was kind of sucky, but that is another story), my girls are happy, Tony loves being a doctor, and I really like San Antonio. I couldn't ask for a lot more. :)
yay! It's always fun to get something done. You really don't much time left. I understand about not getting a chance to stop by and chat...life is pretty hectic for everyone, but especially for you while you are planning a wedding. I'm just glad to hear that everything is going well.
yeah, I've been pretty busy this semester too. I did see you today though! Hopefully he proposes soon! It's no fun to be in that in-the-middle stage. But at least you can still plan everything.
Things for me are good though. I'm working a lot in the writing center, and it's pretty busy this semester. Plus all the homework I have to do...it's kind of hard, but it's still good I guess.
Hey! I haven't seen you around much lately. Ever since you stopped working at the writing center it's like you've practically disappeared. I miss having spanish together even though I never liked spanish. I hope that everything is going well though. How are the wedding plans coming along?
Oh me too! The whole disk is amazing! If you just want a few songs though you could always download em on Imesh, their only $1 a piece, instead of paying for the whole disk. I downloaded the whole disk to check it out & I think I'm gonna buy most of it. :)
Mountains *sigh* There isn't even anything resembling a decent hill here. At least the trees are tall enough that I don't think about it. The biggest problem is that I never have an idea which direction I am turned. Thank goodness for GPS!
