In 1998, the Fur Bus creators purchased a 1982 Cadillac stretch limo, painted it raspberry red and completely covered the interior with on sale faux fur. Hence, the Furocious empire was born. The fur limo made a 2,000-mile cross-country journey from Atlanta to Las Vegas via New Orleans, Mexico and the Hoover dam. This, in essence, began what would become an annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas for New Year's. After returning home, the fur limo remained in the back yard for 2 years until Trey fulfilled one of his lifelong dreams of jumping a vehicle into a lake (undisclosed location). Now without transportation and the approach of the Millennium and Y2k scare, the co-creators of the Fur Bus were in need of new transportation. What better way to celebrate the new Millennium than crossing the county in a short school bus completely covered in faux fur.
The Fur Bus was born. Today, the Fur Bus has grown to include a fleet of 6 Fur Buses in Atlanta. What began as a dream for four friends trying to live the life of rock stars with absolutely no musical talent has turned into a fur empire providing entertainment for people of all ages.

After some well deserved international notoriety, many more opportunities presented themselves, including one that led to the hit Burufunk remix of BT’s, “Simply Being Loved (Somnambulist).” Renowned artist and producer, BT “was absolutely knocked sideways!” by the brilliantly crafted Burufunk remix, as was the entire dance music industry. Knowing it was important to work with other artists and performers, Burufunk forged a lifelong relationship with artists like Deepsky, DJ Icey, and many more.
