About me:

ABOUT US
Furrever Grateful Rescue (FGR) is a small, volunteer run, not for profit rescue group. We rescue homeless kittens and adult cats off the streets regardless of their age, breed, or looks--kitties who have been abandoned, neglected, or were living as strays and were not claimed. We also rescue kitties from high kill shelters in LA County at high risk of euthanasia with little to no cat rescue support.

ADOPTION MANTRA
Our goal is to provide personalized top-notch care for each kitten and cat we rescue. Every cat is important, and each one of them becomes part of the FGFR family. We spend quality time with each feline to get to know their individual personalities, habits, and preferences which in turn, allows us to make the best furrever home match for years to come.

We look for dedicated pet owners who are committed to providing a furrever home, proper vet care, and plenty of love, time, and attention for the cat's lifetime.

100% SPAY/NEUTER POLICY
We are strong advocates of spay/neuter for ALL pets. As such, all of FGFR's kittens and cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption, even the young kittens. We believe that the only way to reduce cat overpopulation is to actively promote and practice spay/neuter for all pets. Studies show that pets that are spayed early have lower rates of cancer, disease, and don't exhibit typical gender-based tendencies (spraying, territorialism, running away to mate/fight).

TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN
We also support TNR which stands for trap-neuter-return for feral cats that are not domesticated and are best living on their own with managed caretakers. A feral cat is entitled to life, food, and shelter, and is no different than a domesticated cat other than lack of human socialization-- they are the same species. 80% of kittens and cats that end up homeless and in shelters are the offspring of homeless feral and stray cats that people dumped. We support caretakers of managed colonies, rescue kittens and tame cats from dangerous situations, and help the public do TNR on feral cats in their own communities and neighborhoods.

FULL VET CARE INCLUDED IN YOUR ADOPTION FEE
We provide full vet care for every kitten or cat, and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, combo testing for leukemia/FIV/heartworm, up to date on vaccines, dewormers, flea treatments, vet exams, etc. All kitties also come with Petco coupons, low cost pet insurance, a free vet exam, and adoption handbook.

PLEASE DONATE TO HELP SAVE MORE HOMELESS CATS
We often rescue kitties that are sick, malnourished, or need extensive vet treatment and care. Your donations are tax-deductible, so please donate before the end of the year to get your deductions in this year!:)

WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF FOSTER HOMES. CAN YOU HELP SAVE A HOMELESS CAT OR KITTEN TODAY?
UPDATE: A number of sweet, tame young adult cats were dumped at a shopping center with no food, water, or shelter. Some died from starvation, others were killed by cars or torn apart by coyotes. By the time FGFR got the call for help, it was too late for many of them. We desperately need foster homes for young adult cats-- even if you can only foster ONE or have a small bathroom.
WHAT FOSTERS DO: provide food, shelter, and TLC to our lovely rescued kittens and cats. Foster 1 or more, young or adult, we match fosters to the kitty(ies) that best suits their lifestyles and preferences!

We will provide the supplies, medical care,

Thanks! Kinda broke lol but otherwise good. Still trying to trap this one cat. But I think we found a place for him once I do. How are things on your end?
