    This myspace page is for all of the FD fans that supported Further Down over the years and for all of you that missed the FD experience. Born on the back roads of Arkansas with a bottle of Jack and a deep-rooted appreciation for blues-tinged southern rock, Further Down, became one of the Arkansas' most successful independent rock bands during the 2000's. With the release of the Further Down's third full-length hit album, 7 Years Hard Luck (August 21, 2007), and after a decade of performances, the shows ended with a .38 Special concert and then a final Friday night headline show on the Chevrolet Stage during the 2008 State Fair of Texas in Dallas. A spot traditionally reserved for major label artists. The guys intended to take some time off to finish the tracking of their fourth full-length album at Ardent Studios with producer Pete Matthews, however, because of internal differences and various side projects the entire record was never completed. Robby, Red and Josh formed their new band "Zach Williams and The Reformation" and Micheal and Evan formed their new band, "Haven Hill". Of course both bands are heavily influenced by the Further Down sound but there will never be another experience like the FD experience. We hope you enjoy this page and may FD music live on forever.
