Higher Skies release from Further Out Recordings is an amazing collaboration between Alessandro Oliviero (previous releases on Perfect Toy have been playlisted by Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Nicola Conte, Thievery Corp., Jazzanova, Tosca etc.) and Heidi Vogel on vocals who has worked with I.G Culture, Carl Douglas, Liquid People, had singles released on Hed Kandi, Defected Records, Africanism, Eclectic Breaks and has performed with the likes of Eska tungwazi, New Sector Movements, Isaac Hayes, Pororocas (& recorded with them on Kandid), The Brand New Heavies etc.. etc.. She is also currently recording her first solo album - hopefully due for release later in the year ................................................................................................................................................Upfront cdrs of this track have already found there way into the boxes of Gilles Peterson, Kev Beadle, Simon S, Dom Servini (Wah Wah), Nick Luscombe(XFM) and Simon Harrison, Russ Dewbury (Juice FM Brighton) etc..............................................................................................................................................Alessandro started out with house music in 1994, producing artists like Barbara Tucker from Masters at Work in New York, also Michael Watford, Michelle Weeks, Carol Silvan and Fonda Rae.
