Fury'n'Grace began to take shape in 1994 as an early project of Matteo Carnio (Guitar) and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Keyboards), fifteen-year-old mates. As Kiske "Wrathlord", well known drummer (Doomsword/Gjallarhorn/Fiurach), Lorenzo Bassignani as a bass player and Gabriele Grilli on vocals (later in Doomsword for their cult debut in 1999, as 'Nightcomer') joined the band, they produced their first two demos in 1995 and 1996. The sign of a first discographical contract lead to nothing. The album (Mephisto's Waltz, 1998 - unpublished) was the result of the first 4 years of the project. Nonetheless the band worked on new songs. As Bassingnani left the band in 1999 and Christian Grillo (Gjallarhorn/Edge of Forever) joined in on bass, darker melodies and arrangements took place of light naiveties. Dramatic compositions grew more complex and violent. Another four years and antother contract is offered to the band. The second album (Inferno, 2003 - unpublished) followed the same fate of the first. Economical reason prevented the label from publishing and supporting the album. In the same time Del Vecchio started a new project with Carnio and Grillo: Edge of Forever was the melodic and easy side of the three musicians, something that couldn't find no more place in Fury'n'Grace compositions. They recorded two albums that both found publication: Feeding the Fire, MTM 2004 was produced by Marcel Jacob (Malmsteen, Talisman) and features Bob Harris (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai) and Jeff Scott Soto on vocals. Let the Demon Rock'n'Roll, MTM 2005 was recorded in New Orleans, and produced by Bobby Barth (Axe, BlackFoot). In the first months of 2005 Del Vecchio left Fury'n'Grace. No more keyboards meant a further radicalization of sound and composition. Fury'n'Grace began a true revolution in their musical and litterary possibility. Subjects and harmonies melted in a new, scary incarnation: eventually open to maturity and expunged from whatever naivety. Tales of the Grotesque and the Arabesque, Dragonheart 2007, was the result of a year of hard work that, through many obstacles, the band successfully shaped and recorded. A debut album, after 12 years of experience: a unique artistic endeavour of a rare evocative strength... In mid-summer 2008 Grilli left the band. A hard decision due to very personal reasons. The auditioning for a new singer lead Carnio, Grillo and Kiske to Nicola Rossi. The work for their yet untitled 2th studio album release is currently in progress, as in january 2009 the band started the pre-production of the new material. ***
