The Fury, hailing from Vancouver BC, is a female fronted rock group new to the indie scene. Each member of the band has a diverse musical background ranging from training in Classical Music to RnB and Ska. Their Metal, Rock and Punk influences definately take a front seat when it comes to the bands current sound.
The 5 piece female fronted band from Vancouver, has taken leaps and strides for being together for only a year. Playing in popular Vancouver venues such as The Roxy, Plaza Club, and The Bourbon the Fury has also opened up for such great acts as Sloan, Ten Second Epic, Daniel Wesley, The Turn, and Rally Car to name a few.
They have recently recorded their debut album with local indie hit producer Jay "Juice" Evjen (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason, Todd Kerns, and Incura (Fox Seeds 2008 Platinum Winners) at the legendary Factory Studios and Greenhouse Studios. They have recently released a sampler of that album in the early spring of this year and have had a successful spring tour outing in support of the sampler with a simple mission of getting their music out to as many as possible. With many shows under their belt including some great shows including a New Music West 2008 showcase, BC Lions Street Party, Kwantlen's Cram Jam, and Vancouver's Youth Rock Festival, a good buzz has been surrounding this local band; they are a prime group to keep an eye on for 2009.

I found you guys through myspace hopping, I heard some of the songs before and didn't realize I hadn't added you.
