Chris Appleton : lead guitar, lead vocals.
Chris is founding member of the band. Energy, invention & showmanship, he delivers the goods in the studio, and especially live shows. Chris plays Gibson & Fender electric guitars & Cort Acoustics. He has a sponsorship arrangement with Gibson & Cort guitars. He uses exclusively Engl heads and cabs. Chris uses floor units by Digitech & Morley.
Chris has an official endorsement arrangement with Engl Amplification. He uses exclusively an Engl Powerball Amp Head, with Engl Vintage cabs - 4x12 Slanted V30 & 2x12 V30.
Adam Cropper : Bass, backing vocals.
Adam joined the band in October 2007. Being a bass player for 5 years, and being in many bands previously, he has great experience. With a monstrous appearance (inspiring his Reaperman nickname) & a growling bass rig, he's made a huge impact on Fury UK. Adam plays Cort basses (official endorsement arrangement in place) & uses Ashdown bass amplification."
Martin McNee : Drums.
Martin joined in October 2007. He started playing drums at around 14/15 years of age in his school days. His early influences were Lars Ulrich (Metallica) & Tre Cool (Green Day). Later on his main inspiration comes from the likes of Bill Ward, Buddy Rich, John Bonham, Elton John, Chad Smith & Ian Paice. Amongst his favourite bands are Primus, Metallica, Sabbath & Zeppelin. Martin's previous bands include August, Method & Mr.Bifta. He uses a 1968 vintage Lugwig kit (22" bass drum, 14" snare, 12" Tom & 16" floor tom). He uses Paiste cymbals (2002s) : 14" Soundedge, plus 16" & 18" crashes & a 20" ride.

Formed in 2002 in Manchester. With a few line-up changes along the way Fury UK have an ever-increasing reputation for captivating live performances….inspired by Chris Appleton's guitar work & songs with the fantastic ingredients of hooks, time changes, key changes, big solos & meaningful lyrics. A band with riffs, attitude & a bedrock rhythm section. If you like your rock & metal in an old school vein but with a modern twist, you've come to the right place.
Influences are diverse but centre on 70s hard rock, early 80s british heavy metal, with just enough progressive & modern elements to make the sound relevant & contemporary. Artists that have inspired Fury UK, although not necessarily outwardly obvious in the band's sound, are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Rush, Steve Vai, Black Sabbath, Joe Satriani.
Debut album (Nov. 2005) “My Tomorrow”, well-received by critics & fans & showcased particularly the British heavy metal side of the band.
2nd album release "Face Of Adversity" (2007), an official release with Rocksector Records & available at the likes of HMV, Virgin, Play.com, Amazon.co.uk, as well as download sites such as iTunes. A more diverse album, with some progressive & melodic elements.
The definitive & latest band line-up was established in Oct.'07, immediately taking on a more channelled hard rock/old school metal sound. Live performances have taken on a new energy with influences which had prompted Vault magazine to say of the "My Tomorrow" album.... "....someone get a copy of this to Steve Harris of Iron Maiden so he can remember how it's supposed to be done...."
A CD single was released on 9th Feb.'07, entitled "Salvation", together with 2 new bonus tracks "Manslaughter" & "Lost In Forever" ..... it's the perfect mix of "My Tomorrow" & "Face of Adversity"!
