Come join me. I entertain through my writing and through my performances in plays, festivals, films, and more, and I invite you to share the laughs either by watching our performances or by joining me on the various stages where I have something happening -- play, comedy performance, music, or film. I also produce a literary magazine, "WILD's The Writers' Block," and I invite you to submit works for that publication. In addition, I hold film festivals two times a year, so I also encourage you to submit films for that competition or watch those films. I sometimes work on longer films or help others with their longer films. I feel I must address the false allegations and scandalous rumors about me that appeared in a mini-biography originally found in the "Whatever Happened to...?" series that is completely untrue when applied to me (so don't believe a word of it). Well, anyhow, an article in a local rag falsely claimed that "Some years ago, Tom took over an abandoned Coast Guard look-out station on South Padre Island, where he spends most of his time. He has converted it into a most unusual house, and furnished it with furniture he built himself from the driftwood that floats up on the shore. The last the public saw of Tom was his legs. From 1949 to 1951, he danced in television commercials wearing a huge Old Gold cigarette box as his costume. Tom's poetry, dismissed decades ago as hopelessly corny, is still in print and is a particular favorite with the elderly and the sick. Asked about what he noticed of life in McAllen, he rephrased a Kurt Vonnegut observation: "'...Being in McAllen, Texas, I am on the edge of the USA, and I am indeed on the edge.'" ......
