About Fuser

Brother’s Ian and Peter Black are the founding members. After settling on a line-up, Ian and John are the force behind Fuser.

In 2005 they recorded the debut album with producer David Morello and engineer Peter Van Gent.

The first single released 2006, ‘The Rules’, has even appeared on the cover CD for the UK released Rocksound magazine. They also gained airplay on several radio and TV stations and went on to become a favourite on The Rock FM. The Rock first discovered Fuser when they entered and won The Rock scholarship after beating a deluge of other acts.

Fuser have also subsequently had another song selected for the NZ on Air funded program “Off the record” and with the success of this gained attention for the next single “You Will Know”. This also lead to NZ on Air funding a video.

Having achieved a sponsorship deal with Demon Energy Fuser have had 5 of their songs feature on the ‘Demon Energy Supercross and gravity games’ filmed by Invesure productions at the Vector Area. This appeared on TV3 and the Sky network.

More recently Fuser have toured NZ playing in small town NZ as well as the main centres.

With 2008 rolling around the band re entered the studio with Matt Thomas (The Feelers) for album 2 and are currently recording with Dave Goodison and Simon Holloway at Beaver studios.

Fuser have fast become one of the new outstanding rock acts to appear on the scene and with their high energy performance and quintessential quirky front man they are sure to go a long way.
