About me:
We combine martial arts, acrobatics, tumbling, weaponry, fight choreography, stunt work, extreme trickz, and other high action activities. Fused with a lot of fun, we strive to create a variety of things on and off the camera. Our main focus is on short films released on our website, but we also do live shows and have fun in the gym. Most members are involved in all aspects of what we do, though we do allow for those who just want to train with us in the gym sessions. As we grow in team members, we also expand the focus of our activities.
hey you guys its James, leader of Team Thunder. I just had 2 quick questions. Right now, we are currently in the process of making a film called "M-54" and unlike other major projects, I can actually see this going some where. "M-54" is a story mostly based of the insanely popular movie "The Terminator". A robot classified as an M-54 is sent back in time to try and kill a girl who will be the leader in bringing peace to the human race in the future pitting humans versus machines. This question is actually a 2 in one, but its not the other question I have. Since the fight involves a lightsaber and the robot will get damaged from attack, first how would a lightsaber come about being made? And lets say the robot gets stabbed or cut, not in actually, but make people think that it happened. What kind of effects would I use to show battle wounds, injuries, etc?
My other question is lets say I wrote a script that I would love to see brought to life, but I knew I didn't have the resources and people to do it. Could I ever send it to a stunt group, much like you guys, and still get credit for, but it would be you guys who made it? Like it would say written by Team Thunder's James Edwards and Verenise Alvarez, but it was created by that stunt group?
hey everyone If you are wondering, especially the people who are posted in those photo sections, they are all what if and possibility sections. For what if, it is saying if there was any way possible this film could be made, here is who I see playing those particular roles. For possibility, it is something that has already been in the talks, but has no activity. It is basically like what if, but saying if we make this, here is who we want to be in the role, and chances are it could happen. Please drop through and give me your opinion, ask questions, anything, just keep it straight nothing rude or stupid or I'll delete it. This epecially helps in which film we should pursue in making. Thanks and have a great weekend everyone.
Hi, my name is James Edwards, a martial artist and writer and director of my upcoming short called "Revenge". My cast consists of 7 people, with one being a martial artist, which leads me to my question because of the experience you guys have in making cool martial arts shorts. Does it really matter if these people are martial artist or not? In the area I live in, there are no martial artist, that I know of, that are around the ages of 16-18, and I had to pick people who don't have martial arts experience. Do you think its possible that I could teach them what they need to know for the film or I should cancel the project and come up with something else?
