This is a page dedicated to all the mixes I have done for various artists over the years! I have always been a big fan of remixing, its totally different to writing your own material as your not staring at a blank canvas. the sounds within the tune, wether its vocals, a riff or sometimes just a few interesting noises can trigger a new idea of where to take that track and place it in a different enviroment.
Its always been hard when ive been presented with a track that I already think is amazing, for example 'The Prodigy's 'Spitfire', this was always a fave of mine so when I was asked to do it it was a bit like 'oh shit, where do I start?!, but luckily the vocals in that and some of the noises were the backbone for what I did, and thankfully both myself and Liam were happy with the results!
I would suggest to anyone out there getting into making breaks or just club tracks initially to just approach some people and ask to do a remix as it will help you develop skills quickly and also give you something to work from rather than starting from scratch, cos lets face it, that can be quite daunting sometimes ;-)
The key thing is to just have fun with it, thats what I do!

Solid remix on the prodigy track man, you captured the energy of the original but it still carries that Future Funk kind of vibe. I love that breakdown!
