Sounds Like
Some of the songs are influenced by the bands above. 60's and 70's vocal type music, all kinds of music, I love music in the local scene. I' ve posted some demos here, these are demos I' ve been working on over the years in my own studio but the sound of the band playing them is much much better
Future happiness band
Future happiness it's what we think about , future happiness we go with the flow of life future happiness contained in every sadness future happiness contained in every sadness, Future happiness we be with beingness , future happiness we enter the emptiness , future happiness our happiness is endless , future happiness contained in every sadness.
Every one knows that 'ever lasting happiness' is not attainable that happiness and sadness coexist like night and day the same for past and future, they are concepts created by man as a way of coping with living, they are in our nature and yet they are concepts we are taught, do the animals live in past and future?, oh god, you can argue these ideas for ever but who's arguing? , not me, Im just trying to live these ideas ( the key to living these ideas is not to try). They are ideas loosely thrown around in my songs , which are performed by the wonderful band Future Happiness. I grew up through the seventies and I some how have this subconscious need to try and create an album that could possibly have been made in the 70's. Thats why Future Happiness are currently recording their album 'Love is your destiny' the musical style i would say is happily influenced by 70 s music as well as modern , maybe that's for you to work out, or to 'Feel'... man. The albums lyric content explores notions of romantic love so often portrayed in pop music and music is one of the best ways to explore the high elations and desperate depressions of romantic love. 'Existential love' is not so often explored, the Beatles probably the most famous band to write about it , there are plenty of others , stereo lab are one I can think of. The above demos have all been rerecorded and will appear on the album.
We have played a few gigs so far and hope to play many more but for now the focus is on the recording!! But always happy to do supports that come our way.

Martin, Thanks for your lovely post the other week... I replied to it, but only in my head!! Silly Sam! It was really cool fun playing with you too... Pretty weird gig, but I think we did well... It sure was interesting playing with Jim! Would love to see this rep you speak of at some stage... Hope you are well, and all the best! sDx
well i was at a party in the bush and this lady who i thought was sexy said to me out of the blue if you were an animal you would be a crab i am staring into a fire in the middle of nowhere and she says i would be a crab
now in the beginning this made me feel a little weird who did this woman think she was no man would be happy with a crab right give him a tiger a lion a horse and eagle but a crab
as the night when on i developed a crab dance that took the heat off me a little bit seems people can love crabs especially when they dance there was crab sex in a tent later that night who would have thought a crab could do such things
two things i have learnt about the crab one is that its teeth are located in its stomach so if i the crab happened to ask that sexy lady to just relax and rest her head on my stomach well you know the rest and secondly if a crab loses his claw in a battle he can just grow it back which would make piano playing interesting
if you want to see the crab dance or the man she says reminded her of crab you can see him and his wonderful talented band this SAT 25 and SUN 26 at the TOFF IN TOWN Swanston St MELB CITY show kicks off around 8 its 10 dollars cause of the recession see you there
hello future happiness, it's only 9 sleeps til our show together! woo! i've been listening to 'Love is For Giving' and it has cheered me up on this rainy day. x
Thanks so much for all your support and wonderful music on Friday at tgfeb. The conditions were dreadful but everyone had a great night regardless. I am really looking forward to doing another in about 6 months time. I will post again when I know how much money we raised, but I think we did quite well.
Dear Future Happiness, thank you so much for donating your talent and time to the show. It was such a wonderful event and I would love to have you at the next one later in the year. There will be a dvd of the show for you all in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again for your time and I will keep you posted on how much money we raised. Much love and thanks, Tani. xox
