Sounds Like
foot stomping acoustic tunes to dirty slide guitar roots/blues to sample/bass inspired rock
Hailing from Sydney’s Southern Beaches, Future Primitive is bringing something fresh to Sydney’s music melting pot. Diverse, original and intense, this outfit creates a sound that blends roots, blues, hard rock and electronic pop.
Formed in 2004 whilst experiencing changing band members and a new direction in sound, the band has experienced encouraging success, touring with well known acts, playing festivals and gaining airplay on Triple J and FBI Radio.
In late 2005 Future Primitive finished their self-titled debut EP co-produced by Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins). Suggestive of the electricity produced whenever Future Primitive play, the self-titled EP is but a taste of what happens when this 5 piece hits the stage. From Paul Murphy’s mix of wailing lap slide, to Tim Shakespeares throbbing bass lines, to Dave Copland’s soaring guitar riffs, to Matt Foster’s solid percussion and Ian Lennon’s funky upbeat samples, Future Primitive is an aural rollercoaster, delivering fresh sounds with unerring consistency.
Strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.

How's it going? Hope you are well. We just put some new tracks and new versions on the page and we hope you will stop by and check them out.
Our other major news of the moment is about Garageband.com. We are up at no.21 in the alt pop charts(no.1 in our round!) and so they asked us to be on Clearstation radio on their battle of the bands competition!!! The first prize is a deal with Capitol, and we will be on in a couple of weeks.
We will need you help in the form of voting and getting your interested and very helpful friends to vote on the days... don't know what days yet , but we are going to send out bullitens with more info soon. If you have a sec cyou can check out the site by clicking the link on our page under the comment box (the link badge that says 'track of the day'). they also have a prize draw every month for reviewers, so if you do a few reviews ou might win something( and you might find saome good tunes too...). BTW we don't work for them LOL!
Meanwhile we'd love to hear what you think of our (nearly..) final versions of the first 4 tunes.
