Rays of Light's Blurbs |
About me:
Rays of Light is a weblog dedicated to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays! It's been a rough decade for the young Rays, but we're hoping that the Rays can turn it around and become contenders within the next few years. We're doing all that we can to spread the word - to spread "Rays Fever" as it were - and get as many people as possible on board this runaway train.
If you're interested in sometimes funny, sometimes serious, and always insightful writing by people that know their baseball, then Rays of Light is a MUST-bookmark site. Once you're there, make sure that you post comments and get involved in the active discussions on the site.
The Rays of Light staff includes:
Joe Aiello - The founder of the site, and perhaps the most optimistic of the writers. If there is a positive spin on the Devil Rays, it will probably come out in his posts. He runs the day to day operation as well as all marketing and advertising issues. He also runs an MLB podcast called The Pitch
Justin Wolfson - Joining the staff in August of 2006, Justin brings a west coast flair to the mix and provides insight into a lot of the AL West teams. He also specializes in multimedia production.
Jon Wolfson - Jon signed on in July of 2006 and is the resident editor of the site. He is the primary game recap writer.
Scott Caruso - Scott joined up with the site during spring training of 2007 after piloting his own blog on MLBlogs called The New Hit Show.
Jason Floyd - Jason joined the staff during Spring Training 2007 after spending the last 3 years as a radio talk show co-host.
Jon Ziegler - JZ is the resident minor league expert and focuses the majority of his efforts on the farm system each day in the minor league wrap. He has been known to lend his thoughts on the parent club every so often, though.
You can find us at www.futurerays.com. We'll see you at the Trop!
