Future Ruin has been together one way or another since 2005. With the dual core of Jason Gilbert and Nathan Hinkle still together, the band has seen a few line-up changes. For quite a long time we were a four piece band and now we are five. With the final line-up as follows: Jason Gilbert/vocals, Nathan Hinkle/drums, Roger Matlock/bass and backup vocals, Matt Russell/lead guitar and backup vocals, and our newest edition Chad Switzer on rythym guitar.
Most of our music you can't put a specific label on. We stamp it as hard-rock with a splash of metal for flavoring. We all bring different influences into the band so all of those different sounds can be heard throughout our material. We all have input on how the songs are composed and we believe that we set ourselves apart from all the regergitated crap you hear on the radio. The Future is now. If we're not willing to change it, it will all be in Ruin!!!
