Glasgow Film Festival	Nov 9 2009 4:16 PM The Glasgow Film Festival 2010 will be running from the 18th – 28th of February. We have five festivals under out belt and for the sixth we plan to explore and showcase “The Music Video”. You can submit yours online now! In collaboration with The Arches, one of Europe’s leading arts venues, we are continuing to develop a new Music and Films strand. Building on the strong reputation The Arches have in screening experimental moving images and new media work, we aim to develop new audiences and promote the cross-fertilisation of clubbing culture, visual art, live music, theatre and the moving image. We are accepting submissions now. There is no genre, no desired product, just as long as it’s a music video. From ‘the crop’ we will select ‘the cream’ and showcase it at an individual event within the festival. Last year at the festival we had musical involvement from Glasgow based experimental rock group Union Of Knives. True pioneers of electronic music, from Berlin, Modeselektor. Death Disco sorted us out with Dj’s such as Brodinski and Canada’s finest electro export Jokers Of The Scene. From penniless course work, to funded productions, using any style of film making technique, we would love to see.
