About me: The Fuzzy Belly Foundation was founded in the summer of 2005. The founder Elena Bundy began volunteering at her local shelter in the fall of 2004, and soon realized that she needed to be doing more for her new found furry friends than just taking them for walks. With the numerous animals being surrendered to the shelter each day, Elena quickly realized the importance of local rescues and shelters having disposable funds to purchase necessary items to sustain their efforts. In August of 2005 the 1st Annual Fuzzy Belly Fundraiser was held in kind for the Humane Society of South MS. In one evening, with much thanks going to the guests and sponsors, the newly established Fuzzy Belly Foundation raised modest $1,000 dollars in one night.
The Fuzzy Belly Foundation is very excited to carry on with this initiative and continue raising more resources for fuzzy bellies!

As hundreds of animals are surrendered to shelters each day, the Fuzzy Belly Foundation is devoted to finding solutions. While our medium of support may vary, our objective remains to encourage kindness and consideration of animals through education and other ethical means. Our initiatives target the youth audience to actualize their potential in the fight to end animal cruelty.
THE FUZZY BELLY FOUNDATION IS A DIY OPERATION, THAT IS ALWAYS LOOKING TO HOOK UP WITH BANDS, ARTISTS AND MYSPACERS TO HELP US WITH OUR INITIATIVE OF FINDING A SOLUTION TO ENDING ANIMAL CRUELTY.
