Who is Fuzzy Island? Well, some might say he's a throwback to the bluesy south of the 40s & 50s; a time when singing 'the blues' really meant that you had something to be blue about. But it's more than that. He's more than that. Fuzzy represents the old-school bluesman. His music takes it's lead from days gone by, where each performance is simply that: an original, one-off masterpiece, never to be played the same way twice. In his recordings, this rule of the blues is employed every time...for every track you hear is a first or second take. No overdubs, no extended workouts of chord changes, no lengthy punch-ins; just think it, pick it, track it, and move on to the next tune.
That is the essence of Fuzzy Island; a man who's heart is deep-rooted in the Blues work of legends Mississippi John Hurt and Furry Lewis; a man whose strict belief in capturing 'the performance' of a song causes those tunes to resonate in your mind long after you've heard them...This is the blues. This is Fuzzy Island.

Great bluesy sounds Fuzzy! Thanks for finding me, always a fan of musicians keeping that raw, authentic, stripped-down blues sound. Keep on keeping on....
