Music. I love classical, classic rock, heavy metal, punk, anything with a screaming guitar. And my faith is a big part of my life. Without Christ, I am lost.
My interests are few but extreme. I love the violin. I play nightly. Getting better too. Huge video game freak. Just got into the 21st century and bought a PS2 and Guitar Hero. Haven't slept in a week, but I did beat Slash. Hah! My guilties pleasure is professional wrestling. HBK is da man! Really into theology, and I teach a Sunday School class at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. (I'm not perfect, I'm forgiven) and that's all that comes to mind at the moment.
I love music. Favorite bands are AEROSMITH, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Rolling Stones, the Doors, Big Brother and the Holding Company (on a side note, if you get the chance, listen to Janis Joplin's song Kozmic Blues, incredibleness), Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Velvet Revolver, Nirvana, Blink 182, Green Day, Johnny Cash, the Black Crowes, Breaking Benjamins, Seether, Crossfade, Audioslave, The Who, just found Eric Johnson (what an awesome guitarist), Shinedown, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Evanescence or however the hell its spelled, and I'm sure there are others but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.
One-Metallica
Been going through a superhero faze with the movies. X3, Batman Begins, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Other movies that I like, Ferris Bueller, Empire Records, Heathers (swatchdogs and diet coke heads), and if I think of more I'll put them in.
Television
I'm a huge TV junkie. Scrubs, Law and Order SVU, I'm addicted. Also like, Bones, That 70's Show, Malcolm in the Middle, the Simpsons, South Park, Daily Show, Colbert Report, King of the Hill.
Books
I'm loving Terry Brooks, Stephen King, C.S. Lewis, Charles Spurgeon, Terry Goodkind (yes Matt, I will read the damn books finally), Neil Gaiman (American Gods is MUST READ as is Neverwhere), Poppy Z. Brite
Heroes
I don't throw the term "hero" out there too often. Anyone basically who goes beyond what they are required to help another out is considered a hero in my eyes.
