Heroes
The men and women of our United States of America Armed Forces. If not for their diligence and watchful eye, if not for their sacrifice of life and limb, if not for their willingness to do what is right and just, then, I could not walk free. I could not talk free, nor, could I live free as God intended for me...

I am the band manager for Wendy Takes A Fall. Its a local band out of the Culleoka/Columbia, TN area. The music they play is influenced by 90's rock/grunge. This is definitely a new side to the entertainment industry for me. Go here to listen to some of their music www.myspace.com/wendytakesafall . Just FYI, we do have some new band members and a new vocalists and our current sound is a bit different than what is posted.
My oldest daughter starts college next week and my youngest is now in high school. Yay for them but damn I'm getting old...lol!
There aren't that many people in this world I'd like to actually meet. Only 2, Johnny Depp and Leonard Susskind. Johnny, because he's my favorite actor. A very talented man with a gift of extreme hotness from the Lord Almighty! Leonard Susskind, whom I'm sure 99.9% of the population has never heard of, is the Father of the String Theory. (A gold binary star for those who knows what this is.) That's right....Quantum Physics. A fascinating subject. Although, I do envision a horrifying meeting with either of these men: Johnny: "Hi". Me: Staring wide-eyed and blankly, stuttering, violently convulsing while puking on his shoes, "Hello", as vomit dribbles down my chin then running to the nearest rock to hide under in my shame and embarrassment/Leonard: "Hi". Me: Staring wide-eyed and blankly, a complete bump on a log (cricket..cricket..cricket). Yeah. Thats it. I would like for David Gilmor to give me a private concert. I don't neccessarily need to meet him...just play for me. Same goes with Iron Maiden.

One of the largest, single day Rock n' Roll parties in the valley's history is going to take place on June 7th at The Crossroads Music Hall, 115 Clinton Ave. E., in downtown Huntsville. "MUSIC 4 MEDS" is the "Concert to Benefit The Community Free Clinic". Doors open at 1:30PM, and music begins at 2:00PM, and will continue nonstop until the wee hours.
A minimum donation of $10.00 is requested.
I imagine we all wish we were wealthy enough to write a huge check to solve the problems that arise, but for most of us, the best we can do is pitch in a little, and try to get the job done. If you can afford to show up on June 7th and donate a few bucks, we promise to play our hearts out for you and make it worth your while.
Plan on coming out and being a part of this celebration. Together we can do a lot to help our community, and have a great time doing it! Hope to see you there!
Thanks so much for your help and support. - Sonny Edwards
