Writing, hypermetaintertextuality, spiral dynamics, neuroplasticity, infinite space, shunyata, metatantric manifestation, myownbigtoe, implications of the word "shiny," D'zogchen, oxytocin, nonviolent communication, really good pens, stretching time and space (both subatomically and cosmologically... though really those are the same thing) and a whole lot of other things that may or may not be contained by words.
Music
Yes...though nothing with words in languages in which I am fluent. Balanese gamellon, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, Chinese opera, Tibetan ritual, tribal drumming, Robert Fripp (nowords), Mozart, Charlie Parker, CiboMatu, MiddleEastern dance, Scandinavian retroNorse, all northern tribe throat singing, Mongolian folk, panAsian flute, and participatory environmental.

On occasion, though typically I avoid sitting and staring at electronic boxes unless there is a very, VERY good reason to do so.
Television
No. Never. Not for the past twenty years.
Books
Oh yes... lots and lots -- too many nonfiction / philosophy to begin listing. Fiction? Joyce, Barthelme, Barth, Nabakov, Proust, etc. I can read very fast; I can write very fast. My favorite books are the ones I write while I'm writing them. My favorite book I didn't write? Finnegans Wake.
Heroes
There are beings I respect (all of them really), but on a plane of equal sovereigns. "Hero" implies a hierarchy I don't see, a duality that doesn't exist, a way of distancing the self from itself. My heros are everyone and no one -- these are not distinct categories.

About me: Tantric housewife; Bodhisattva warrior; Transcendental Nihilist; Goddess of Oxytocin; VeryHighPriestess of Postmodernism; undercover feminist anthropologist; gonzo academic (Neuroanthropological Linguistics); neurochemical bioneer; subject and object; writer of fictitious fact and factual fiction. By day a mild mannered college instructor of English Comp and mother of two highly intelligent minions of chaos.... by night a multi-dimensional six-armed goddess with a keyboard, a holographic notebook and seventeen boxes of pens. (Don't be nervous -- I'm only semi-wrathful.) I write. I write a lot. And when I'm not writing, I'm thinking about writing; and when I'm not doing that, I'm doing something else.
Who I'd like to meet: A good looking long-haired guy who would rub my feet, didn't mind if I put a notebook on his chest and wrote during sex, who would cheerfully get me a drink in the middle of the night, has an IQ of +160, an infinite and singularly directed sex drive, knows Kung Fu, can recite Buddhist text, climb a tree by the light of the moon with a knife between his teeth, is comfortable wearing a skirt, can chant polyphonically in Tibetan, understands my body on a subatomic level, fix my car, juggle and make a mean hot toddy. Oh wait -- I married that guy.
Thank you fMom. I'm all cool with the impermanence thing. Did you read my blog "Autumn" by Stuart Davis? He said "there is no such thing as being born or dying, so we can afford to be born and die." It's the loss thing I'm feeling. She was a member of my Reiki group. Her name was Susan. She was a feisty one bent on recovery. It was in her name that I cut and donated my hair last summer.
Indeed! It was good seeing you as well! One of our DJ's from here - Count Grozny - will be the guest DJ up there this week. I'll be there as long as a check clears by then. Also, your DJ - Chuck G - will be spinning for us as a guest DJ this weekend in Louisville @ Club Fuzion (1335 Story Ave).
When u get some free time (free time is a phrase that means your not busy doing other things, incase you needed reminding). It's time for you know who to meet a real life Witch :).
Thanks for the blog comment. I suspected we had a lot in common when I first visited your "space"; I could see myself. OK, I don't write so much, but I do talk a lot....mostly to myself. Thanks for your myspace friendship! SWT
