G1 BIO
G1 ®, musician and producer, Detroit, Michigan incorporates techno, jazz and hip/hop beats in the music. A drummer by nature, G1® also plays guitar, bass and keyboards. G1® trained as an recording engineer/ producer at the Recording Institute of Detroit.
G1® is the CEO for indie label company New Ground Collabo, which has signed on Versify, Stan Blade, and Equinox. The label has worked with artists such as LOWER B, CALEB JOHNSON, and JACIE McCONNELL. G1® has also worked with film production team, UNDER OATH PRODUCTIONS out of Estes Park, Colorado.
G1® also is the host of one of the successful Podcast shows, THE NGC PODCAST HIP HOP SHOW (www.myspace.com/ngcpodcast), which plays some of the best music form not only underground artists (such as NECRO, KOOL KEITH) to indie singers (BILLY MILES, NELLIE SAE, SITS OTIS) to new artists, (VERSIFY, SIVION, LAUREN KOFI, ORYON).
On October 28th, something wonderful happen .... G1® became an born-again christian! Never been baptized at all, G1® has always been spiritual, but wanted to have a closer relationship with god and learn as much as possible. This has not changed the quest for hip hop, but opened a whole new world, both mentally and spirtually.
G1® has moved the operation, running from Green River, Wyoming and
still working with all the great artists in Colorado.
