Gab Bonesso has been performing stand-up comedy for the past five years. Gab has played clubs and colleges all over the country including: The New York City Laugh Factory, The New York Comedy Club, The PIT, The Punchline (SF), The Purple Onion (SF), Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, Youngstown State University and Indiana University of PA to name a few. She has performed with touring comics such as Corey Kahaney, Eddie Brill, Kyle Cease, Will Durst, Nick Griffin and Richard Lewis. Richard Lewis has said of Bonesso, “She’s the real deal and fucking hilarious”. Alan Cox, popular local DJ on 105.9 WXDX has said of her, "Gab is one of the most frenetic and inventive comedians to emerge from Pittsburgh in many years. She comes across as a raw, exposed nerve and you just want to touch her." In the May 2004 Pittsburgh Magazine article profiling Gab, Elena Passarello writes, "...She has the knack for wry, real storytelling that made Garofalo famous, plus the warped, soulful innocence of Belushi, with a dash of Chris Farley’s manic energy." NYC Comedian Baron Vaughn has said about Gab, “Gab is hilarity incarnate. She’s a powerful and intelligent comic that’ll leave your head spinning from her energy and insight. She has the ability to pick apart a subject with such ferocity that all that is left is biting humor and tears of laughter.” Over the past five years Gab Bonesso has made a name for herself in the Pittsburgh comedy scene. Television/Radio Host John McIntire describes Bonesso as “The Queen of Underground Comedy in Pittsburgh”. Pittsburgh Comedy Club Owner, David Kaye, has said about Gab, “ Gab Bonesso carries full bags of X-generation angst and Italian Catholic guilt on stage and dumps the contents into the lap of her audience. Feisty and ready to scrap, Gab prowls the stage vehemently defending her beliefs with expletives and exclamation points. She is an Italian-Catholic Rabble Rouser.” Gab was a Top Ten Finalist at The New York City Underground Comedy Festival.
