My name is Gabe Lapano, and I have been a professional keyboard artist, vocalist, and composer since the early 1960s. I was in The Accents, The Cascades (as their lead singer and songwriter), and I have shared the stage with The Righteous Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Roger Miller, The Byrds, Herman's Hermits, The Turtles, Janis Joplin, and Credence Clearwater Revival. My songs have been recorded by Cher, The Mamas and the Papas, and many others. In 2004, the Cascades were admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a revolving exhibit along with David Wilson, Tony Grasso and Ed Snyder.
