Gabi Almeida is a singer/songwriter/musician/producer from Brazil.
Gabi was born in São Paulo and spent most of her live in London. Her sound is a mixture of these urban styles with breaks and beats around melodies with the English elegance and the Brazilian sensuality.
Gabi started her music career playing and singing with bands and soon was touring with names such as Tricky, Five, Anne Clark, The Lighthouse Family, Des’ree, Cathy Dennis, Mc’ Almont and others.
All this experiences inspired her to produce her first solo work entitled Paint My Colours/ Pinte Minhas Cores.
The recordings of her debut started in England and finalised in Brazil, with special featuring from guest rapper K-Chaça and other Brazilian musicians.
Her album has already had great reviews by MTV, The Rolling Stone Magazine, Vogue and many local newspapers and websites.
A Cantora/Compositora/Musica/Produtora GABI ALMEIDA nasceu no Brasil e cresceu na Inglaterra.
Sua música e uma mistura de batidas de hip hop e lounge com guitarras inglesas, violões brasileiros e espanhois em volta de melodias cativantes e sensuais.
Gabriela tocou com os artistas ingleses Tricky (ex-Massive Attack), Mc Almont e Anne Clark, e daí veio a inspiração para compor e produzir seu disco solo.
Na música de entrada "Better Than The Rest" ela conta com a participação especial do Rapper Francesco piro (ex membro da banda Senser).
