Many - I love to write and read, I love the outdoors, and I enjoy learning new things. These days I'm researching everything about autism and sensory integration deficit.
I've recently been exposed to Jim Warren's artwork, which is simply amazing.....check out some of his paintings around my page!
One thing our entire family enjoys are our excursions, sometimes for just a day, sometimes for a weekend. We particularly enjoy Gatlinburg and the Cohutta Wilderness.

Movies
RHPS, Dazed and Confused, The Blues Brothers, Hitchcock movies, anything with Matt Damon (he is such a hottie). I enjoy movies with Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Sean Connery, Mel Gibson. I like anything directed by Kevin Smith....Denis Leary and George Carlin fuckin' ROCK!! I have a strange sense of humor and enjoy Monty Python and other British humor.
Television
I've got two new faves - Big Bang Theory and Pushing Daisies....both are really great!! Love Survivor and Big Brother....was ecstatic to see Evel Dick win last season!! NCIS rocks! I'm always changing the channels between Discovery, History, TLC, The Food Network, etc, etc, etc.
Deadliest Catch on Discovery is a great program. I enjoy watching programs that you can actually learn something from. I'm a huge Mike Rowe and Dirty Jobs fan - he's so funny and hot to boot!! I love Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain.
About me:
I go by many titles....I am a wife, a mom to two wonderful kids, a chauffeur, a cook, a housekeeper, a teacher, and the list continues as I'm sure other stay-at-home moms would agree. I enjoy Cable TV way too much. I like Pinot Grigio and Merlot on the rare occasions that I drink.
As Robin Williams said in Mrs. Doubtfire, "When it comes to my kids, I can only plead insanity, because since the moment they were born I've been crazy about them." I will do anything and everything to protect and nurture them. My daughter Aly will be in First Grade this fall and loves it, and Hunter is now two years and two months old and into everything. He has been diagnosed with moderate autistic disorder. The two of them are really close, which makes me happy.
Who I'd like to meet:
I like to get to know different people and have interesting conversations. I'm particularly interested in meeting other parents with "special needs" children.

He definetly NEEDS one of the those evacuation systems I saw yesterday...it's like a foley catheter...only for poop not piss! Yuk! I'm soooo glad I work in psych!
