MY MOM.
She has been my mom and my dad since as far as I can remember. She is my best friend even though she might not even know it. I love her with everything I have and she is the one person I cannot live without. She taught me everything I know and made me everything I am. She means the world to me.
GARY.
He’s given me so much shit about everything I like and he didn’t even realize that the only thing he did by talking shit was making me like all of those things that much more. And now he finally realizes that his opinions can’t change me.
BRANDON.
The funny one! He is the brother that always makes me laugh and smile. I'll definitely say I learned to be a goofball from him. He used to take me to Africa and make extra PB&J sandwiches since he knew I was gonna steal them. There’s never a dull moment around him and he’s really supportive of everything I choose to do. :)
SHALENE.
My connection! She is the sister who has always been there for me to be a good role model of what I can do in life. She showed me that you can have fun while becoming successful and she cares about my future.
JESSICA.
Jessica has taught me determination and perseverance, especially now that she is in law school. She is the sister I shared a room with and always watched get ready to go out to a club or something. And always thought "I can't wait until I can go out like her..."
ADRIAN.
Well...we used to fight a lot and he used to beat me up. But now he is also one of my closest friends even though I don't show it. He is the brother I can talk to about anything, and the one who understands it all. He's the one I go out with at 3am to Norms because we don't want to be home.
RAMON.
I have known him since the 6th grade and never saw us becoming best friends. We are total opposites at first glance...but when we're together...who knows what the fuck is going to happen. We laugh at the same shit and think the same thoughts. He is the one I call whenever I need to talk to someone. He never judges me and loves me for my insaneness. I can't live without him.
MARIA ESTHER.
She's my cookie dough! This girl is my absolute best friend and my other half. We have been friends since the first year of high school...and with each week...our friendship grows stronger. I can't imagine going through high school without her as a best friend. She helps me through the hard times and laughs with me through the good. We cry together when we are heartbroken and tease each other when we are happy. We finish each other's sentences and don't need words to speak. I fucking love her.
EDWIN.
So where do I begin with Edwin? He makes me feel fat all the time!!! But it’s okay because I know he’s only joking. Plus I can beat him up so no worries. He’s been there for me every time I’ve needed someone and I appreciate him so much. I thought he was some pretty boy into like rap until I took his phone in Biology in 9th grade and saw his ACDC background. He’s continued to surprise me throughout the years and I’m glad to call him my friend.
MYNOR.
Mynker! We met in freshmen year and have been super close friends ever since. We are always joking around and he's always sharing his Monster with me. No matter what we're doing, we always have a good time. And he's the first person I hug whenever we go back on track. He's absolutely amazing.
MICHAEL.
Inky! So one day Michael added me on MySpace…and we started talking. We had a lot in common and got along great…but we would never talk in person, until one day. And after that one day, we became great friends. He’s a good listener and really funny. He tries to steal my art projects but only hurts himself by doing so [he slammed his head…hehehe]. It’s a pleasure to see him everyday.
JOSE.
This guy is one of the most random people I have ever met. Who else thinks about big bird in a bondage suit? Haha. There's never a dull moment when I talk to him and we can talk about the craziest shit for hours. I hope we can become even better friends. However, he'll never be downer than me [haha].
FRANK.
He would be number eight on my top friends but he deleted his profile. Fucker. Anyways. Shitt. I've known Frank for almost two years now because he liked my tattoo. Now we're really good friends and I tell him everything about my life. And I do all these crazy things for him. We paint random shit on my walls and walk home in the pouring rain. He distracted me during art so I got nothing done, but it made every day that much better. Not to mention, he’s the one who told me to go for Andrew! :D
KENNETH.
Kenneth “chose” me in 9th grade to be his partner because he thought I was cool. He pointed across the room at me and said “I want her!” It was funny, and from that point on, we were friends. Now we have trigonometry together and he is was gets me through the hour long period. We goof around and don’t learn shit, but we make memories. He’s the peanut butter to my jelly. :D
AMELIA.
Omg, where do I begin? I have known this girl since I was four years old. And twelve years later she is still one of my absolutely greatest friends. She has always been there for me. I cannot express how much she means to me. I know she will always be in my life. We used to dress up like our American Girl's dolls and build forts in her living room. Then we would stay up watching Cinderella and eating cheese crunchies. Hehe, I love her so much.
EVELYN.
It’s kinda crazy when I think about how me and this girl are friends. We’re the exes of the same guy, and we started talking, and I’m so glad we did. She is an amazing girl and by far the best listener I know. She comforts me when I need it most and gives the advice to help me move past all the crap. She understands all the things I think. She’s funny and makes me laugh. Not to mention, she’s so adorable! We’re going to go Christmas caroling with our bondage belts. I’m so glad I can call her my friend and I look forward to growing closer to her and making tons of memories. Oh! Plus, we both like guys named Andres! You can’t be any cooler than that!
KEVIN.
We met in the beginning of 9th grade. We were the best of friends. We hung out all the time. He helped me through so much shit. He was always there to make me happy. We were Burger King Buddies. We went through some shit but once again we are close and I couldn't be happier. He is someone I never want to lose.
SAMANTHA.
We've definitely had our shit...but now we are best friends. I can turn to her with everything and she always helps me out. She is always there for me. We can relate in so many ways and she makes me smile every morning. I do not know what I would do without her. She's been nothing but true to me and I cannot thank her enough for that.
JOSEPH.
He was one of the first people I met when I first moved to Los Angeles. He used to make me really embarrassed in the 7th and 8th grades...and after we graduated...I thought I would never see him again. He ended up going to HHS and now he is one of my closest friends. We share crazy stories and make silly bets.
NHEIL.
I met Nheil in my freshmen year as well...in 3rd period French. He gave me a dragon charm that I still have. :) We started talking and lot and got to know each other really well. He is there for me throughout everything and helps me get through every day. He's one of the reasons why I breathe.
PYRO.
I met this guy a few years ago through some other friends. We had always heard about one another but never had faces to put to the names. Now we’re friends on our own. He’s dope to kick it with. We always have fun and talk about stupid shit. We’ve had our ups and downs. But in the end we came through and we’re friends today. But all I can really say is…chocolate syrup [and it has nothing to do with me!].
MANNY.
He’s too smart for his own good. I really admire him for his dedication and he’s a really good friend. He’s fun to be around. And we’re gonna make tons of memories in Europe this summer. I can’t wait!
