InfluencesAnything from the Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails to the Cure or even the Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. The most obvious of these for this music is NIN (you probably won't even notice I'm influenced by the other people I've mentioned), but the others all influence me in my life and my band's music.

The main thing that influences me, other than the music of others, is my want of something that is mine, something atmospheric, dance-influenced-yet-still-hard-rocking, something that is unique to me.

I really want feedback on everything I do on here, especially the music and my blog, so please leave me feedback via either mail or a comment.

MACHINA is the project of Gabriel Machina: all instruments, programming, producing, mixing and songwriting are done by him - the music is his vision and no-one else's. This is art is its purest form - the expression of one person in the form he knows best - music.

Gabriel has been working on his first album, Deus Est Machina, for a while now, and has all music composed and all lyrics written. The first three songs are the first three tracks from the album, while 'Make the Mistake' is a stand-alone song that may well be destined as a single.

The project has gained much acclaim, with two demos having gained airplay on internet radio, Gabriel being offered work with several producers, and, to top it all off, a fan club started gaining 50 members in under 24 hours.

I know that track has been remixed like a thousand times but it was our first attempt at anything related closely with the industrial scene. I'm so glad you like HURT too. I did the string arrangement for Rapture and still get goosebumps when I think about all the people that might be listening to it. It's really my first big musical accomplishment and I'm glad to hear you are sharing it with your friends. By the way, I got to listen to your work. I really like all the crunchy sounds in Every. I could definately hear them playing your stuff at this fetish party I like to attend in NY.

Hey wuts up? Ive been working on some musical tracks of my own to go along with some video I already shot and my eventual stop motion short, when will that be ready? who the fuck knows! I dont clame to be a musician at all, just played around with a program till i got the sounds i wanted, which is how some music should be sometimes. totaly organic and freethought.

you should check out the becoming damaged nin group on my group list to and go the group banners and layouts to heck out some art ive done, ive done art that looks very much like the litho posters of the current nin tours, who im seeing this tuesday night by the way, fucking right!
I cant wait till the day I can see Machina live. that would kick some majoy ass and half.

hey man wuts up? I am doing a series. Alot of meaning is hidden in each image, its based on alot of things I have been reading and researching, but like myself, if anyone wants to learn about it, they will have to pick the images apart themselves. because sometimes art should inspire people to learn. Even music has had that power. Ive listened to musical lyrics and had to look up a word I didnt know the meaning of, or an entire concept. So This series is a nod to that as well. Thanks for picking up on it and all the comments you have been leaving for me.

And by the way, I will also go on a rampage in the streets if I do not do the art work for you album. lol, and just to let you know, I met with a director tonight and we discussed my involvment on working on art and possible promatoinal and poster work for his film. So there you have it.
