I love folk music. Especially women folk singers. I'm a huge fan of female vocalists generally. I love Ani, of course, and Melanie (who nobody's ever heard of and that's just sad), Buffy St. Marie, Joan Baez, Kasey Chambers, Sheryl Crow.

Television
I'm a tv addict. I'm ashamed of my addiction to HBO and FOX, but I can't help it. I love virtually everything on HBO, but Sex and the City is my all time fav, even when I wasn't watching TV I watched Sex religously.
I've now become a huge Joss Whedon fan (Ie. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, many amazing movies and hopefully more amazing tv shows to come).

I LOVE books. I'm one of those dorky people that likes to smell old books. I'm a poet and my mother brought me up to love the written word, and so I do. A lot. I can't even start to list all the books I love. Too many
Heroes
What can I possibly say here that isn't corny? I think my mother and my daughter are big heroes for me. Great women authors like Sharon Olds and Muriel Ruckeyser. Musicians like Melanie Safka. I have so many role models and heroes it's bordering on insanity.

Hey! Look at the shit I found! It's our youth on Mr.Rogers! I remember you played here, but this is also my school life. The rubber tire tunnel under the horse is where I used to hide from the world and read Mrs.Pigglewiggle. I never got to see this when it aired, but I found it on youtube. Love the future! Enjoy.
