With that said, one of my biggest passions is birth work. I am a Certified Post Partem Doula and a lay Midwife studying to be a DEM. I also do birth advocacy work with Trust Birth. Wimmin and babies are preyed upon by a patriarchal medical establishment that treats their natural life giving process as a disease with pain to be avoided at all costs. IF you think you can't do it, their answer is a surgical birth. Whether you think you can or can't, you are right! Wimmin, trust your bodies, babies and instincts! It all works when you let it!
