Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.

Gail, thanks so much for playing "Stop Jerkin My Chain." It's a fun tune and I appreciate you sharing it. Hopefully the winds will blow me over the pond and we can meet in person sometime. Take care until then!

Hi Gail , Thanks for todays excellent CMR Show, as ever an education! I didn't realise Iris Dement was married to Greg Brown. Wondered if you have the 'Down At The Sea Hotel' Story Book CD , the title cut a Greg Brown song. Loved the sublime Low Anthem Charles Darwin track and wonderful to hear the tracks by Krista Detor ( love her) & Mark Erelli wKarine Polwart from the Darwin Song Project. :)
