Bio
Rayn Cumiskey was born into a family of musicians and has been singing since she was five and playing guitar since she was 15. Her songwriting skills recently blossomed within the past 2 years. Encouraged by other singer/songwriters and musicans, she is currently working on her first album "Gypsy Wind." She is described as "A Weaver of Stories;" her songs "melodic and haunting" as well as diverse. Rayn brings a great warmth and sense of fun to her performances that audiences love. Carl Gage, also a singer/songwriter and lead guitarist, partners and collaborates with Rayn on musical arrangements and harmony. Born in Knoxville, Tennesee and raised on Bluegrass, he also has a great deal of creative talent in many other genres of music. His contributions to the musical community are well known and he is currently involved in the following musical organizations: SONGMAKERS: Vice President, Webmaster, Assistant Bard Chord Editor, Occasional Emcee - TOPANGA: Main Stage Emcee, Web Site Coordinator, Rental Equipment, Asst.
