Jordan Galland is a 29 year old filmmaker and musician from New York City. Galland has toured the world with his rock band Dopo Yume opening for Cibo Matto, Phantom Planet, Maroon 5 and Rufus Wainwright. In 2005 Galland’s short film "Smile for the Camera" a comedy about a cult who uses antiques cameras to capture the souls of their victims that he wrote with Sean Lennon won an award for best short at the New York International Independent Film and Video festival. Musical Collaborations include songs with Daniel Merriweather and Mark Ronson. Gallands animated short, Green Umbrella won awards and was shown at a dozen international film festivals. He graduated from NYU where he studied Film, Animation and Mythology.Festivals
