I'm looking for artists of all mediums to submit work samples to be considered for a live painting taking place at an event brought to you by Bear Threads, a young non-profit organization dedicated to bringing art education to children around the globe and fashion line, Aliakim.
We'll be flooding the company logos with embellishments of our own using stencils, acrylics, spray paint and canvas. The work will then be raffled off to raise funds for the kids' program. Supplies will be made available at the event and if you're interested in being more involved you're welcome to creating paintings (with the logos/parts of the logos) at home and then bringing them to the event.
Submit work samples (just for a quick review) to kimberlypsoto@gmail.com along with the dimensions (height x width x depth) and your name, a short artist's bio, phone number and website url. Please indicate if you are an MDC or FIU student because we are giving priority to young art students.
Work samples do not have to be matted, framed or wired. If you are selected, I will contact you for the purpose of planning designs for work to be completed at the live painting on the event day.
