The Gallery Studios is located beneath a church in the heart of Ottawa's Glebe. It also doubles as an art gallery, hence the name.
Upstairs in the old chapel there's a baby grand piano, hardwood flooring, and a giant ceiling. There's also some pretty sweet mood lighting too.
Downstairs there's the main room that we can adapt to almost any recording situation, a tiny vocal booth that we never use for vocals and the control room, featuring flashing lights, knobs and buttons galore. There's also a kitchen and a surprising number of bathrooms for all genders.
We've got all kinds of fancy gear and microphones. If there's specific gear your want/need we can always rent it. Arturo works at Steve's. It's pretty handy. Or we'll just say we rented it and you'll never know the difference. We're that good.
The studio is run by active, indendent musicians if you take comfort in that sort of thing. It also means that if Dean likes your band he doesn't shut up about it until everyone's heard the record.
Our central location in the Glebe means you're right next to everything your body needs: music, beer and pizza.
Kettlman's, Pizza Pizza, Civic Shawarma, the Beer Store, the Wild Oat, Booster Juice and Subway are all within a short walk. Songbird, Long & McQuade and the Folklore centre aren't too far either. There's another music store close by for emergencies, and an all-night convenience store/ATM across the street for all your afterhours essentials.
Dean Watson is the man to talk to about almost everything (but Arturo also has some pretty good answers up his sleeve).

Nous sommes un groupe de Pop’Rock lyonnais. Nous avons créé ce groupe il y a 2 ans.
