The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Riccardo Cocciante (Italy), Billy Joel, Sting, Elton John, Abba,The Bee Gees, ELO, FILM (Soundtrack) music, my current absolute fave is the score from "Road to Perdition" by Thomas Newman..it such a beautiful score....Burt Bacharach, all good music of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, specific genres including Blues, Soul, maybe even some Acid Jazz, also genre composers of the past, Debussy, Mozart, Chopin, Bach, Clementi....to name but a few.... (back to contemporary)..Bruce Hornsby,... good 'CHILL OUT' music...Great aussie bands (Music)...... Men at work, Daddy Cool, Little River Band, Powderfinger......There is alot of great aussie music around!!....................I love the great 'power' ballad...Coldplay...Coldplay are very, very cool!!

I hope this glimpse into my artistic and music life will enlighten people, just a little, into my, albeit personal, persona.
My musical life started in earnest early in life, during my ‘high-chair’ years. I would often fill glasses with differing amounts of water and discover new sounds, new notes, I would have been 3 or 4 years of age.
My mother started to take me to piano lessons at age 5 or 6. I was never forced or anything like that, just a profound interest in the instrument, even at that early stage.
Growing up I continued to discover new musical adventures, continued lessons (albeit interrupted), school musicals and the like.. early childhood performances....even though health issues over my lifetime would endeavour to get in the way and intimately send my musical development slightly askew, yet, in the end, create my individual musical being, my unique slant of musicality.
I have performed in Melbourne now for almost 3 decades, in a myriad of musical guises, performing, teaching.. but predominantly as a solo pianist in many of Melbourne’s hotels, clubs, bars and restaurants and currently have been performing @ Crown Casino, Melbourne for almost 12 years.
In 2006 I was fortunate to have had published my first book, an Italian cookbook with an accompanying original 11 track music cd.......
“PLAYING WITH FOOD”, with my father on the cover, a celebrated chef in Melbourne for nearly 4 decades. Sadly he succumbed to cancer only very recently.
My publisher Mark Zocchi believed in my work invested his faith, time and importantly, monies , I am very grateful.
At the end of 2008 I was even more fortunate (also through Brolga) to have had released my second book, more Italian cooking with another accompanying original 17 track music cd titled “MUSIC TO DINE FOR”.
Currently I am back in the studio remastering ( and a little tidy up) of my first cookbook cd "Playing with Food", I will reissue it as as separate CAFE cd in 2009...I will also reissue my debut cd "Rain in my Bathtub" in 2009......
with progress and luck,inspiration and hard work I will have book number 3 on shelves in 2010......please stay tuned!!!
