Galway Bridge is a Celtic Rock duo made up of Brian O'Carroll and Robyn Fisher. Brian plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica, sings and writes the original music. Robyn plays violin, percussion bits, bass and sings. Brian has fronted many bands in the Phoenix area, including O'Carroll's Gate, Carroll McGreggor and Black Ashling. He was also a member of the original Keltic Cowboys. Brian's ancestors are from Galway. Robyn was originally a classical violinist and went to school at Central Missouri State University and Arizona State University. The Galway Bridge has been playing together for four years. Robyn and Brian are both members of Phoenix Irish rock band, The Biffos. Their recently released CD includes Tony (drums) and Rich (electric and upright bass) and features 9 new original songs.
It's offical it's that time of the year again to shake your shamrocks and wish even the wee folk well those both big and small.
