What a wonderment it is to me the wheels of fate and profound efforts of others, that needed to be casted to allow me to fly. From the dreamers, the builders, engineers, technicians, the professionals in so many fields, to the hard earned money of the patrons…

So that I am pressed into the back of my seat with the flick of my wrist, smoothly ascend into a place where time slows, beauty is painted with such obvious perfection, such obvious patterns and such scale that it becomes imperceptible. So that I may dance with the clouds for a time. So that I may descend through the curtains with the goal glowing in the near distance, lighting raining down on my flanks. Then without notice these machines you are driving fuse together, there is no thought, no pain, no deliberate action, there is traces of words like training and experience, these are shadowed by the joy of the impulses of this timeless moment. Slipping back into gravity, you awake. Hoping for the moment you can do it again, grateful for gift just given and secretly stowing it away for fear there may be a limit.

Thanks a lot TOM!!! Like I have time to maintain another website!!!! (GameDemo.com & MovieDemo.com) Seriously I would like to thank TOM for the bandwidth for the videos. Also I find myself strangely attracted to him (and his money), the way he sits there smiling at me, with all those important writings on that white board behind him, but he doesn't let it go to his head because he is still wearing that free Tee Shirt he got when he applied to Colgate's "Award Winning Smile" contest. He was robbed of that title by that cheating little bitch… Don't worry Tom she not smiling now since I brushed her teeth with that baseball bat. Tom, You just keep on Smiling.

I am a gamer.  Fortunately for me I had remissions of my gaming addiction at key periods of my life.  Instead of the getting any of the high-end gaming consoles of the day; Atari 2600.  My parents got me the TSR-80 computer. I work for nearly a year and half to upgrade from 4K to screaming  16K of Ram.  (now I try to keep thumbnail graphics on GameDemo.com around 16k)

A remissions of my gaming disorder allowed me to start dating, meet my wife, get through school, become a pilot and start a flying career.

This first real flying job had a contract with a medical transplant team.  Because time was a big issues we had to be airborne within an hour.  This basically meant I could go from my apartment to the grocery store and back.  I was trapped in my apartment until my beeper went off.  Bored on a day off,  I went to CompUSA and saw a brand new game called Castle Wolfenstein – I was hooked.  I spent every dime, to buy a computer and play that game.  A few months later a buddy that I had at EBGames told me about this game come out called Doom.

We saw the concept of Shareware that ID Software had created and thought wouldn’t it be great to get these demos before the general public.  So we started GameDemo.com in 1996.
GameDemo.com has been a rollercoaster of a ride.   I do it because I love the game of GameDemo.com  I love the creative freedom it gives me.  When I am on the road flying, I’ll go to breakfast at the hotel and see a business man sitting there listening to the other business man drone on as his eyes glaze over, I feel blessed, scared, sad, …  I never want GameDemo.com / my life to reach that level.  When I forget I do this for the fun of it, I hope Iam smart enough to say “Game Over, Man!”

Those that like to fly may enjoy this. It is a video I did for my daughter's first grade class. Her teacher asked if I would fly “Fuzzy” around and take pictures of his travels. I was teaching myself animation and video production so I decided to make a video. I asked the marketing department (of the airline I fly for) if I could post the video on the internet and I was told sure if I remove every reference to ‘said airline that said marketing department works at’ – ugh. Anyway my daughter and her class got to see the FULL version – which was the goal in the first place. Here is the edited version. Again this was the start of my animation production learning process and admission is free - hope you like it. ;)
