Gamelan X world music ensemble presents dynamic, original music for concerts and dance events. We draw our primary inspiration from Indonesian music, especially the Beleganjur, the traditional Balinese marching gamelan. We are also inspired by Balkan, African, Indian and American traditions (among others). We aim to combine complex interlocking rhythms and sinewy melodies into a visceral groove experience that excites and entrances our audiences.
You can purchase our CD and download free mp3 clips of every track here:

I'm now in Bali, have rented a place in Ubud and learning Gamelan...I am loving it. Thank you. lemme know if you have any suggestions of teachers or anything of the kind.
