Like most of you I have been playing video games for a long time. Everything from Donkey Kong, to the Halo trilogy.
I was originally in the IT field for almost 13 years, spending my days working on servers and so forth when one day my friend called me with a “idea”. This idea was to make a macro controller specifically for Halo 2. While this interested me greatly I decided to give it a shot.
HOW WE GOT STARTED
I had worked with electronics as a hobby but never took it any further until a couple years ago when we made a controller Mod for Halo 2 with about 10 different mods. This was huge and so much fun. It brought out so much more in the game. Being able to 4 shot by holding a button you say? BXB’s, BXR’s, Instant Sticky combos, Quick Reloads, etc. Ah yes the good old days.
Well since the end of Halo 2 and because of the demand we have moved on to other games to keep everyone happy. It’s enjoyable projects for me and a enjoyable product for you. I also like the gratification I get when I see the reviews of our mods on other sites and emails from customers.
THE FUTURE OF GAMERMODZ
We will continue to produce mods for games and have many, many more things in the works for this site. Some of these things include Tournaments (with prizes), more products for your xbox and controllers, as well as ways to have your game clips put in to professional montages via HaloGenius.com.
