Обо мне:

Starting around April 2003 as a personal website for general blogging, PsyGameZone lasted for around two months, starting the creator's obsession with the Internet and mass transfer of information. In June 2003, Video Game Help/Strategies.. was created for the owner to practice his newly found interest in web programming. The site had, from the beginning, served the purpose of providing various forms of video game information to its users. Within a month, it changed name and template to become the more colorful, yet still unattractive, Nintendo Island...

Template change after template change occurred until Halloween of that year. The site ceased its attempt at an all-games-included database and became dedicated to Sega's mascot and his games, aptly named Planet Chaos, a Sonic Adventure 2 reference. As the creator also adopted the hobby of basic sprite editing, the site continued to expand into a massive archive of Sonic the Hedgehog information. After utilizing its final template as Planet Chaos, the website switched to the first version of the Sonic Download Archives in 2004, eradicating all the unnecessary clutter.

Two months later, it adopted its most popular template thus far, and traffic skyrocketed as Sonic media poured in. SDA flourished until November of that year when it re-adopted its original idea of hosting information for all sorts of games. It became the Gaming Generation and temporarily hosted downloadable, fan-made games until 2005 when it underwent a server and URL change. Mimicking its message board template and beginning to pick up server-side programming languages, GAGE hosted all sorts of information for many different games - most notably the Sonic information carried over from SDA.

Within the year, it became GamingMedley and acquired its own domain name. It was around this time that the shoutbox and counter scripts had begun development. After developing a member system and new template, GamingMedley officialized its version two template. It wasn't long before it took full advantage of server-side coding and databases, switching to its version three template, attempting to maintain its sleek design.

By 2006, the site sported an advanced member system and even sexier, graphics-included version four template. The shoutbox had been evolving rapidly along with the main site. After years of media collection and random subsites, the shoutbox script had gained more attention than the site itself. Requiring various server changes due to its popularity, the shoutbox brought demand and therefore income. Emphasis on GamingMedley died down in light of the shoutboxes success, so the main site was replaced with a minimalist version five template, abandoning its planned and nearly completed iTunes-mimicking template which was designed to be media-focused.

As the shoutbox continued to expand, it grew so popular that it was bringing traffic to the main site. The version six template was created in 2009 to reemphasize GamingMedley's video game focus to its viewers.
