ABOUT:
Gamma Like Very Ultra formed in Tucson, Arizona in early 2006 by founding members Joseph De La Rosa and Christine Heinisch. The duo began as a Found Sound, Electronic Noise and Live instrument collage project. Joe is a bass player, tape noise collage artist, and from Tucson Arizona. Christine, formerly of the pioneering dark cabaret / chamber punk band apartment aka apartment burlesque orchestra, is an electronic musician, Trumpeter and Keyboardist from Chicago, Illinois. Since its inception, De La Rosa and Heinisch have turned their collage work into a live experimental, avant-rock band with nods to their various popular influences. Ariella Lake (apartment), composer / guitarist, long time friend and collaborator joined in late 2007.
